About Me
I am from Colorado (born and raised, howdy) with a love for the many scientific and natural mysteries hidden away in the Rocky Mountains. I have bachelor degrees in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and Computer Science.
Outside of academia, I have a special love for weird and wild stories in science history. I spend most of my free time reading and recreating science experiments from history. My current obsession is the history of ancient astronomy, astrolabes, and how to determine longitude.
I am also an amateur but passionate cecidologist (the study of plant galls), mycologist (the study of fungi), and botanist (the study of plants).
